The house is very centrally located being about 150 yards/metres from the Westport. The latter is the old stone gate to be found at the west end of South Street, one of the three streets of the old medieval town. The house is also very near the Town’s golf courses and about an 8 minute walk from the 18th green of the Old Course.

Although the front of the house is on the footpath that leads to a park and playing fields, it is only ten yards from the bottom of the Argyle Street car park thus having easy access to a place to park the car whilst staying well away from any street traffic. There is a small, south-facing, sloping garden that overlooks the Botanical gardens, providing a very private warm quiet spot in the summer sun. To the side there is a screened patio with a built in barbecue.

The house is on three levels. On the ground floor there is a Porch, Hallway, Lounge, Dining Room, Kitchen. On the first floor there is Bathroom 1 (with a shower over the bath), Bedroom 1 with a double bed, Bedroom 2 with twin beds, Bedroom 3 with a 3 quarter sized bed. On the lower ground floor there is Bathroom 2 (with shower over the bath), Bedroom 4 with a double bed, and a Utility room leading to the backdoor and garden. All the rooms are spacious by modern standards.
